On what has come to be known amongst the Scientific Community (at-large) as the 6th Layer of Space, Professor Hero works diligently researching the “Ubiquitous Moby”, the various Layers of Space, and  other local phenomena and scientific what-nots (and/or hoozies). By way of both assistance and diversion, over the years he has created many robotic companions – or Automatons. While the results have been mixed at best, we here at The People’s Museum of Miracles, in cahoots with  The Scientific Institute for Incredible Studies are proud to present the first visual record of some of the Professor’s undoubtedly intriguing works. We are also proud to offer the sale of said imagery* (all proceeds benefit Children of The People’s Museum of Miracles):

1.The HORNCULON (c. 1927)

Primary functions:
Illumination/ Search & Recovery/
Short Term Audio Playback/
Merry Jigs & Dances
Auxiliary functions:
Known for its revolutionary “obseqiousity
matrix”, the Hornculon was expressly designed
to boost the self esteem of its owner/operator.
There was only one Hornculon created, and despite
nearly constant malfunctions and destructive dances,
he is still in frequent use by Professor Hero.

2.The BUDDY BOT (c. 1932)
Primary functions:
Children’s Relations (”Nanny”)/
Short-range Flight/Audio Recording/
Radiation Detection
Notes:
While initially successful as marketed to
military families, the “Buddy Bot” was discontinued
in 1933 after numerous reports of: occasional/constant
explosions, disturbingly high radiation levels,
and a predisposition towards emitting an“unsettling
weeping-like sound” upon extended disuse.

3. The UNI-SPRIKE
Primary functions:
Deep Sea Measurements/ Autonomous
Auxiliary Power Source/ Drum Machine
Extraneous, Misc, and Etc:
This diverse Automaton became revered for its myriad
adaptable uses, most notably its distinct abilities to: grab
at lost keys, wheel about the room whilst “dropping beats,”
and chug a lot of beer. The culmination of these talents earned
the model a loyal customer base amongst college males
as well as the nickname,“El PartyBot!”

EARLY AUTOMATON VIDEO STUDIES

from Professor Hero:
In my ongoing research into the realm of the so-called “inexplicable”, I have often encountered a need for assistance, or even, at times, “amusement”. As such, The Automatons were born.

While the result have varied between the dangerous and the out-and-out depressing, I harbor the deepest affections for my little metal children. Buy one today!
